HOW DOES BOX BREAK WORK? And why are there so many different setups?

A Box Break is the ultimate way to experience the thrill of opening collectible cards together with others in our community! Instead of buying an entire display or box yourself, we team up and share the contents. You buy one or more spots in a break, and we then open everything live on stream. The cards you win will be sent home to you. You decide if you want them sent directly or if you prefer to collect cards from several evenings to combine shipping at a later date!

To make it as exciting as possible, we mainly run three different formats:

1. Booster Pack Format

The most classic and simple format. Each spot corresponds to an unopened booster pack in the box. When it's your turn, we open your packs live, and all the cards (or all "hits") in those packs go to you. Perfect for those who want guaranteed packs/cards opened in their name! Check out our sealed products — we have Topps, Pokémon, One Piece and Dragon Ball, among others.

2. Pick Your Team / Movie (PYT)

Here, you choose and buy a specific group in advance – it could be a specific Disney theme, a character, a team, or a "movie/set" category depending on what we are opening. All cards pulled during the break that belong to your chosen group become yours. This is the best setup if you're chasing specific cards for your collection, for example, if you only collect Real Madrid or if the only Disney movie you love is The Lion King!

3. Random Spots

A truly unique and exciting format where chance decides! All participants buy an unspecified spot, and before we open the box, we draw lots for how the cards are distributed. This can be based on, for example:

• The first letter of the card's name (e.g., you get all cards starting with P, C, or G).

• The last digit of the card's official number (e.g., you get all cards ending with the number 5 or 7).

This format means everyone has a chance at the absolute biggest cards at a very affordable price!

4. What is a filler spot?

Sometimes we raffle off or sell so-called "filler spots" at a significantly lower price. This is often done to quickly fill the last spots in a break so we can start the live stream. Buying a filler spot is a perfect and cheap way to join the community, cross your fingers, and still have a chance to win great cards from the less sought-after categories in the box!
